The preview uses an opaque shadow. Negative offsets move the shadow left or up; negative spread shrinks it. Copy the declaration into your component styles.

How to use Box Shadow Generator
- Set horizontal and vertical offsets, then choose blur and spread.
- Select a shadow color and inspect the live example.
- Generate and copy the declaration, checking that nearby content has enough room.
Give an interface layer a controlled sense of depth.
Adjust horizontal and vertical offsets, blur, spread and color to generate one outer box-shadow. The live preview uses a fixed-size object so changes are easy to compare. A zero-blur offset can create a crisp graphic treatment, while blur softens the edge. Large shadows can become distracting and expensive when animated across many elements. Keep focus styling separate so an ornamental shadow is not the only cue for keyboard interaction.

Does this create inner or multiple shadows?
This version creates a single outer, opaque shadow. Add inset or layered shadows manually if your design needs them.
Is my input sent to a server?
No. This utility processes your input in your browser. URLs you paste are treated as data; the tool does not fetch them. Be careful with clipboard history on shared devices.
